OPTIMA SD - auger doser

Optima at FachPack 2013
Leading Solutions for Diverse Requirements

Machines from Optima Consumer offer the perfect solutions for nearly every application. Equipment ranges from single standard machines through to custom turnkey packaging lines. The technology spectrum comprises cleaning and hygiene functions as well as robot-supported handling and complex assembly functions. At the FachPack, OPTIMA will present a selection from its consumer machine range for viscous foods (such as chocolate spreads), cosmetics and a dosing solution for powders.

Optima SHF8 is a filling machine with eight filling points which will be used for processing for viscous products in the form of various breakfast spreads. An output of up to 90 jars/minutes at filling weights of 500 and 250 grams can be attained with a filling precision of +/- 1%. The machine is designed for a filling volume of up to 720 ml. Once installed at the customer’s plant, the machine will be used in conjunction with an Optima Rotocap closing machine as a complete filling and capping line.

The second exhibit is a "Moduline" which fills mascara and lip gloss. Filling is followed by application of the scrape-off rings and brushes which are applied as a screwed closure with a controlled screw torque. The compact machine has an integrated weighing module. Deviations from the target fill weight are immediately registered and the dosing system is automatically adjusted. The maximum output is 125 units per minute. The format size ranges from 2.5 to 25 ml. The puck transport system also contributes to flexibility. Generally, the functional modules can be decoupled from the frame and changed or replaced as required in the Moduline. The Moduline concept is also used in the food industry. There are a number of different functional modules available for this purpose.

The Optima SD auger fillers are well suited for powdery or grainy products. Both gravimetric and volumetric operation with switch-off scales is possible. Special options for food, pharmaceuticals or chemicals industry ensure that filling is suited to the product and is carried out with reproducible, utmost precision.
